DESCRIPTION:
Clocks- 2 (Two) French Cast: (1) Japy Freres, Paris for Tiffany & Comp., three piece mantel garniture, 8 day, time and strike, spring-driven pendule de Paris movement in an ornate cast case with gold finish, painted porcelain panels signed "Carle" and matching candelabra, c1860; (2) France, figural clock, 8 day, time and strike with alarm, spring-driven pendule de Paris movement with in a gilt brass case cast in the form of a female figure holding a bird, all mounted on an ebonized wood base.
CONDITION:
(1) Broken and repaired arms on one candelabrum. Gold case parts have been refinished. (2) Movement, case, and base are all loose and in need of attention. Figure has a damaged left hand. Musical movement and other alarm parts are missing. Hands are absent. Glass dome absent. Dimensions provided are for the figural clock. Sold "as is ".
